Mindset skills are essential to our ability to function in our lives – education, work and leisure
In JOLF mindset refers to attitudes and beliefs, thinking skills and Game Sense.
Attitudes and beliefs - Mindset coaching encourages children to develop a positive approach to learning, to appreciate others, to value cooperation and sharing and to be supportive of each other.
Thinking skills - A games-based approach means that children are thinking about how to be successful at a game or challenge. They make decisions, solve problems, reflect on their performance and plan what they need to do to get better.
Game Sense - Game Sense in JOLF consists of all the skills and knowledge that golfers need to manage themselves successfully on a golf course. Game sense includes being safe and sensible, being able to play without holding anyone up and showing respect for fellow users of the golf course.
